Manutsavee was founded by Bang Manutsavee Kaewsai (vocals, guitar), whose name became the band’s identity, together with a friend who played lead guitar. They created their first EP, which helped them gain initial recognition among listeners.
Later, they met Took (violin) and Mui (drums), evolving into a full-band formation. However, after all members graduated, the group entered a transitional period, leading to a parting with the guitarist and ultimately shaping the band into its current three-member lineup.
Although the trio does not strictly define their musical genre, their work carries a distinct folk-rock essence. This can be heard in songs such as “Roojak Rak,” “Khwam Ruesuek Khong Tua Chan,” “Lok Thi Baek Wai,” “Bitbuean,” “Thi Chan Siajai,” and “Chan Yindee,” all of which convey emotions and stories with sincerity and depth.
