Manop is a band that originated from a music competition at Bangkok University in 2012. They later continued performing at various venues around the university area. After graduating, the members went their separate ways to pursue their own paths.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Jet (bassist of TaitosmitH), who was formerly the vocalist of Manop, brought the band back together as a project while TaitosmitH was on hiatus. He also invited additional members to join the group.
Manop is a band known for its strong storytelling, reflecting everyday human experiences—whether it be love, hope, dreams, or the lighter, more playful moments of life. Their sound blends folk-rock with elements of 'Phuea Cheevit' (Songs for Life).
Their notable works include Khee Phae Chang Fan, which introduced them to a wider audience, as well as heartfelt, encouraging ballads like 'Kwanjai' and 'Rak Khon Son Teen', offering comfort to those going through difficult times.
